This video contains the highlights of the Joseph Bensman and Arthur Vidich Commemorative Conference held May 5-7, 2017 at City of New York University. It brought together some 40 students, colleagues, family and friends of these two famous sociologists who wrote Small Town in Mass Society and collectively published over two dozens books on American society, politics, political legitimacy and the rise of capitalism and world imperialism.
The video includes memorials in honor of these two sociologists along with talks on the relevance of their teachings to the modern world of Post-Obama politics.
